Sponsor a Dog receives £36 million a year from sponsorships alone

The problem

Dog’s Trust needed Dam to create an engaging online experience for sponsors. The site required a design that was easy to maintain and update, have clearer information about the dogs they sponsor and an easy donation process. Dogs Trust wanted to be able to better promote and inform users about the benefits of sponsoring a dog and wanted Dam to consider future developments for the section. Sponsor a Dog receives £36 million a year with only 5% revenue from online donations and sponsorships. The current donation process was visually dated with frustrating functionality and poor user experience.

The solution

We ran targeted user focus groups to get an insight into their loyal customer’s needs and wants, and best practices in order to achieve them. After testing the new interface and donation prototypes with the same initial user groups, the results further evidenced our assumptions, allowing us time to revise the designs and make the user experience the best possible outcome for the user!

“It feels less clunky, more mobile friendly and intuitive.”

“Feels natural to find vital information on the homepage such as how your money helps.”

“Definitely a warmer and less corporate feeling design.”

“The fun and friendly icons specially in the progress bar.”

Just a few quotes from some very happy users!
